Shocking Results

I got my 55 a couple months back and have used a few times. The last time I went to pull the meat out I got shocked, same outlet,unit supplied cord nothing different. Any idea's ???

I'd first call CS tech support.. horses mouth kinda thing. I hear they are quite helpful.

As an aside.. I assembled my 008 on the stand I bought with it.. when I lifted the smoker it tilted sideways a bit and I heard something rolling around in the top end of the smoker.. probably a screw or something like that. This may be a problem with yours.. something bridging the space between the hot wire and the body of the smoker.
