Hey redoakNC,

Good you brought this up, cause I did some burnt ends this weekend off a packer that I cooked low and slow. I used a mixture of sauce that was 1/2 KC masterpiece and 1/2 Gates original sauce. I also like the taste of the celery seed that is in his sauce. It does go well with beef. It has a little black pepper to it,also.

On a side note I have mixed it 1/4 KC masterpiece, 1/4 Gates,1/4 honey, 1/4 purified water and used it for a glaze on my ribs. Not bad for a change!

If you've never tried Gates original, you've been missing real KC BBQ, if you ask me.
