Hi. I'm new to the forum. For years I've been using a modified gas grill with wood chuncks as a smoker. I finally got an SM045 and broke it in this past weekend. I noticed that the top and the left side especially were on the warm (top)to hot side (left), while the other sides were cool to the touch. Is this normal? I would think that the distribution of the insulation would be uniform.
