What is the max temp of a SM150? Looking at a used one for the home and some meat I like to cook at 400*. I hope the 150 can do this.

I'm reasonable sure the max is 300 o but you may want to call Cookshack to confirm that.
I know it's not 400, don't remember the high end, and I looked at the website, didn't see a max temp.
I had one, but that was about 10 years ago, don't remember the max temp. It has two elements, gets hot, but not 400.
You'd need a charbroiler, Pellet grill or a FEC 100 to get those temps.
But like Max said, call CS and ask.

Mine probably peaks around 325*,but 300* is a good conservative top cooking temp.
As your probably aware ,at 400* cooking temp it won't really be smoking.Most folks would just use their traditional ovens at those temps.
