Smoked red beans?

Sounds like you're going to have smoked water.

What are you trying to do? Are you making BBQ Beans or something?

No not making bbq beans just a pot of smoked red beans and the water issue is just enough to keep them from drying out. Smokin I am from the old school don't have these new fangled fancy shmancy smokin ovens however one would be nice fer christmas! I suppose a person could cold smoke them in a CS if he had one?

Hey all are welcome here, even if you don't have one of the new fangled smokers...

...I don't know how well the bean will absord the smoke in the water. They do in the bean pot, so maybe in water will be the same.

All we say here is try it and let us know.
