Put some ribs in my smokett and went to work at 8:00am. Set the thermostat on 200. When I came home I looked at my temp and it was over 300. Yep all black and dried out. Tried again yesterday with some more ribs and the temp would not get over 150 in the smokett. Think it is time for a new thermostat. Just wondered if any one eles has ever had this problem? I bought my smokett II last year and it always seem to take a long time to get to a temp of say 200 in 6 hours.
