I have the smokette and love it. I originally purchased it to do venison sausage but only use it for "Q" now. I dont like how my sausage comes out of the CS. I think it has something to do with the fact that the CS is sealed up so nice there is not a "draft" which in my opinion is importent in sausage making. If you stick to butts,ribs,brisket,poultry,etc. you will be very happy. You can feed a herd with two 8lb butts!!
