Im headed out on a weeklong camping trip on Friday. Each of us take a night and prepare a meal. Id like to smoke a pork butt and take along with me.
Could I smoke it at home and package it, then finish it on a propane grill a few days later, or would it be best to smoke it, pull it, then vacuum seal it?
I vacuum sealed and froze leftovers a few months ago and it wasnt nearly as good when warmed.
I'm open for suggestions.
Thanks

Camping, everything taste great. I cook my butts and vacuum seal them for the trip. I don't freeze them though. Just fridge and cooler them if you do them a few days before consuming. I have reheated them different ways. Either place the bag in boiling water or dump the contents in the pan and add some of that famous finishing sauce and bring up to temp.
