WHAT MAY BE THE CAUSE OF WOOD CHIPS OR HUNKS NOT ACTUALLY SMOKING SO THAT THE MEAT IS SMOKED. wE COOKED A SALMON AND THE WOOD CHIPS DID NOT EVEN CHAR OR SMOKE.

What smoker are you using?
Go to the "owners" forum if it's a CS and read through some of the recent posts.
Chips should be smoking if it's a CS, if it's not a CS, we'll need more info.
