Just ordered 2. A birthday present for myself. Birthday is Tuesday and delivery is Wednesday. Also ordered the needle probe. Can't wait. Will replace 2 old thermoworks.

Mrs. Pags is laughing at me. I just added the needle point to the Christmas list.

I could just order it myself now, but this makes Mrs. Pags happy. Seems the past few Christmases, I've gotten my own gift and thanked her. Really thought I was making it easy on her.

Got delivery 1 day early. Nice units nicer than what I expected. Red and green are super. Neddle probe also nice

I'm waiting till Christmas.

Shucks,the "Boss's" birthday just passed,as did Valentines and Easter.I guess she'll have to wait until her anniversary,At least she can get a color she likes.

Does this unit have a single lead, or can it read two meats??

SORRY!, but I ordered two of the slow purple versions, along with 4 extra probes. Now Sonja has my Xmas shopping done.

Came to the forum to see what was new and most important reliable for a Christmas gift for my son. Went to the website and read about this one. Seventeen reviews on amazon: Sixteen 5-star, one 4-star. They have a special of $52 each if you buy two. Bought the purple for my LSU son. Mine is red, of course. Can't wait to try it out.
