I just ordered a 5-pound tub of Cookshack's Spicy Chicken Rub. I'll probably keep about 12oz on hand in the kitchen at any one time, so I'm looking for suggestions on the best way to store the motherlode.
o Refrigerate it in its plastic tub?
o Freeze it in its plastic tub?
o Store it in vacuum-packed bag(s)? Freeze or refrigerate these?
Of course, the obvious solution is to USE IT ALL before storage becomes an issue! But, in the interest of science, I thought I'd pose the question.
