Stand height | Cookshack

I'm building a home for my SM045. I was just wondering that height Cook Shack decided was good for their stand?

Here's what I got. Height is perfect. Built like a tank.

Thanks page. Im close to that. I'd Planed on a top height of 31 1/2". I should be ok.

That'll work fine. Saves your back while loading and unloading the smoker.

since you are building it, why not adjust the height to what works for you. If adjacent to a counter you might want the top of the smoker to match the countertop; or you might prefer something higher but still have the controls at an easy reach. For me I could see the top of smoker be up to 5' and have easy access to controls and be easy on the back for loading and unloading the smoker. Just be sure to provide clearance and protection from cumbustibles.

My plan (if it dont change) the height to top of unit will be 59". I hope to have it finished by the weekend.
