For everyone else, his site is still up "www.recipegoldmine.com" and he has some stuff under the link "BBQ Guru" but I did a quick look, didn't find a jerky how to page.
Now, to show you how much I know about the internet (a lot); I went to the Internet Wayback machine (yes, there is one Mr. Wizard) and pulled this recipe up from 2003:
Kevin's Jerky (it's actually Randy's as I remember):
http://web.archive.org/web/200...bbqguru/kevin33.htmlIf you don't know about the Wayback Machine, consider yourself Schooled
From the kitchen of Kevin Taylor, the BBQGURUThis comes from Randy, a fellow BBQer and jerky aficionado!
3 lb. beef steak
3/4 C. soy sauce, light
1/4 C. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 C. hot sauce
1/2 C. Tender Quik
3 T. steak sauce
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garam masala
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. black pepper, coarsely ground
1/4 C. brown sugar
2 T. honey
Cut beef into long strips. Combine all ingredients and marinate beef for 2 days.
And if you're now asking "who's Randy", check out the original posts that Kevin was referring to:

So ChrisW, did I answer the question?
