summer sausage question

I just proccessed 30 lbs of meat for summer sausage, I used High mountain seasoning and cure.
The question is, would it make a difference if after weighing the sausage links, it only weighed 26.5 lbs, and I used seasoning and cure for 30 lbs of meat?

You should be alright. If anything the sausage may be a little saltier or spicy.
You also can add 3.5# of pork to get to your desired weight.

Better to over-cure a tad than to under-cure. I think you'll be ok. Might want to bump this down to te Sausage Forum.
