I thought I was going to have brisket,but when I looked at the Excel Angus at Sams this morning it didn't appear that brisket was a good idea. There was about 18 or so and they were awful.I did get to hear a gentleman explain to his son how to split the point from the flat.I was going to ask how to find a good one to him,but was afraid I would embarrass myself.(lol) If his son wasn't there I guess I would have given or gotten lessons.

It looks like brined chicken for the game.

Wife is from Louisiana, so we will be watching the game. Cooking spare ribs, ABT's, pork butt for the beans, and some chicken wings.
