It's really going to depend on the size of the cables. And how would you "know" if you were having a problem. Keep in mind that you can't "see" the airflow issues. And just because you don't see smoke, doesn't mean it's not smoking (think about clear smoke) The reason I say that, is that if the airflow is restricted, you won't see a problem, until you see problems elsewhere (like the insulation getting wet inside the walls and then something happening).

The airflow and vent are very specific, I'd be careful about putting too many through there, especially if it's every time.
