Do you feel comfortable ordering from them Todd? Their ratings are not real good with Google.

Back when we looked at the knife sharpeners at Rolling Pin,ikitchen was having a lot of problems-but that was then.

The one time I didn't look for merchant feedback and look at what happens. I'll let you know how it goes. I ordered 2 therms from them this AM.

Thirteen days since the order and no sign of therms, but they haven't charged my credit card either. Oh well.

Well. You didn't get bad service. You got no service.

They seem to wait, until they build up enough orders,for them to order from the manufacturer.

When they don't reach that volume-they post an out of stock.

Not always,but enough.

Heard from them today, 5 weeks after order. Here it is in their own words:

"Your item is still back ordered from the manufacturer with no ETA at this time.
You have not been charged. Your order will remain on "Hold or Rejected"
status until the order is shipped.
We are sorry for the delay, however as stated in your order confirmation due to the volatility of the items we sell, some items do fall on back order.
We will do everything in our power to rush the order to you as soon as the
item(s) become available.
Feel free to follow up at any time. We appreciate your patience."

Others might want to steer clear of this company. I'm going to wait them out for giggles and grins since I'm not in immediate need and the price was really good.

I've had the same thing happen to me when ordering something with a really good sales price Todd. Thought the sale was a "leader", and since it was the only thing I ordered, they just wanted me to go away. Makes sense that they needed more customer requests to justify ordering from the manufacturer. I did the same thing and just waited. Eventually, got my reward. Frustrating though.

Turns out this company is a scam. They've been in the news lately for being one of many fronts for organized crime. No joke. It seems they post items at great prices then virtually never deliver......but they do pass on your billing info and a few weeks later you'll get an old DVD in the mail with no info, but you've been billed $8-9 dollars, all through a company you've never dealt with at all. Seems they do this a few million times and most folks don't catch on or don't feel its worth the time to look up the origin of a $9 charge. FYI
