I received my smoker on Thursday as I headed to Mississippi for the weekend. I was so excited that I threw it in the back of the Yukon. My wife could not believe it. I saw the doubt in her eye, it's so small. After seasoning it I cooked my Mom a piece of salmon. They talked about it for a day. My brother tasted the fish and said it was okay. No credit for lil bro. I cooked a 10 lb. butt for the big day. All I can say is lil bro got some praising(and that is no easy task). You should have heard the family, wife included. The only problem is that they all know how easy it was. I mean this piece of Q was pretty daggon tasty. You guys really helped me out. All I did was read and follow the advice right here on the forum. It was great. Thanks guys.

Good job scottymac! But you did make the mistake of letting people know how easy it was. Now word will spread and you'll have strangers showing up on your doorstep with a boat-load of meat asking you to do Q for their block-party on the other side of town Big Grin Ya needs to find a story on how you slaved over a hot grill all day; slop a little sauce on an apron; a spot of grease here and a smudge of charcoal there - all the while you are sitting back and enjoying whatever!!!

Way to go!
