Ok, just moved my rack systems to the top position for the first time. I discovered that your can't really use the top position because one of the rails (the fourth one down I think) on the left side hits the thermostat cover and the rails won't fully seat in the screw mechanism. I could see how this would put a lot of weight on the thermostat cover if you had a heavy load. Is this a design flaw? If they would have moved that rack up a quarter inch, I think it would have been fine. I think I'll call cookshack on this. I've got all seven racks in now with just jerky. I am using the top rack position and it works fine, but I'd be afraid to really load-er-up with some heavy meats.
