Top vent sm250

Hello all!

Got door gasket replaced, thanks for the help there. Next question:

The top vent, how big is that hole supposed to be? Seems like a lot of heat smoke escape through the 1,25 inch hole, ID.

Uncle DT That is the correct size. If that or the drain gets blocked to much it can cause the unit to back pressure we call a burp. Most of the time this does not damage the unit but we have seen is pop the latches open.

That's surprising to me about the burp, what with the drain hole on the bottom. Great info, thanks!
