Hello again, Meaty Brethren,
I haven't done this before, but I wanna try to make some Turkey Jerky.
I'm familiar with the Black Arts of making jerky, but limited to beef muscle....OK..and ground beef sticks.
I'm kinda skittish about dehydrating raw poultry so my big question/concern is: is it a best practice to cook the turkey first, before dehydrating? Boil? How long? etc.
Any direction would be appreciated.
