upping the temperature on fe

Jack is letting me use the FE sometimes. If I want to go from a smoke setting to say 400, should I increase a click at a time or jump all the way to the 400? Should I stay at each temp setting until it's reached or just pause a second at each increase? I don't want to hurt his smoker. I am a pretty good wife.

I change my temp any way I want. I go from high to low, or low to high, or anything in between.

Jack asked me why didn't I just ask him. I said I'd rather all of you thought I was stupid than for him to think I was, but since he reads the forum, I guess the cat's out of the bag!
I'm just so scared I'll mess up his toy!
