A contest for July 4! The winner gets my favorite meat thermometer, the Thermapen, a Red White and Blue one that sells for $96. To win, email me the story of your greatest BBQ disaster in 500 words or less. And I don't care if it is true or not because all BBQ cooks lie (except me). Send it via email only to Meathead at amazingribs dot com (I had to do that to stop the spammers but you can figger it out). Make the subject line "Fubar" and submit it by midnight July 4. I'll name the winner within a week or two. Employees, family, vendors, and volunteers for AmazingRibs.com are not eligible.

Wow what a deal. I aint had many disasters personally but I know some folks who had some. Can we tell stuff about them? Thanks.
