After cooking ribs for the Chiefs game, I opened the door on the FEC to let it cool off. Following a very frustrating game, I went downstairs to put everything away and when I opened the garage door, I heard a horrible crash. When I looked outside, the door to the FEC was lying in front of the cooker. Apparently I had it too close to the garage door and the handle caught it on the way up. Long story short, the door is removeable. Nothing was broken, but I nearly wet my pants finding this out.
