The new PG500 arrived today. After a two hour burn-in, I did a couple of steaks. They were very good, but I did learn that you have to get those doors closed or you will quickly dump all the heat. Wife thought the steaks were "Damn good."
I do have a issue with the front casters. I installed them (they are idiot proof), but find that the added height (just shy of two inches) makes the grill tilt noticeable. Will see if it effects cooking/performance before I decide what to do.
Got out the emery cloth to knock off the edges off the laser cut pieces. Boy are they sharp.
Think that the front shelf is going to work out well. Its very convenient to have a place to park food on the way to the grill.
More later.
