The weather folks don't know for sure what exactly will happen in 24 hours, let alone in six days.
See you there. Hope they make 25 teams, but I've heard it's not looking so good.

we competed there last year, and at that time made the decision to not come back. I suppose a lot of folks like the air show, but the constant chatter and droning on and on got on everyone on our teams nerves and could not hear any of the important announcements since tried our damndest to just block out all the talking.
Just my .02, but I know we were not the only ones who complained, and we were told that is just the way an air show is, tough.
SO we decided to vote with our wallets
The contest and coordinators were awesome, but the air show part sucked out loud

Give them a break dude. If you have an airshow, you have to have someone to tell the crowd whats going on. I agree though, the whine from that jet was getting annoying coupled to the fact that the wind was blowing about 35 mph that day.
But if you have an airshow, you're going to have aircraft noise. I was disappointed that we didn't get to see the some of the events due to high wind, but thats the way it is in KS.
It was a tough cook, but still a well run contest & we had a good time & we'll be there this year.

It was a grat contest, but since it is wrapped around the airshow that is why we decided to not go back. If the event would not have been associated with the airshow it would have prompted us to re-consider, so I guess I will "give it a break" I have never been to an airshow other than the one at McConnell so it was a new experience, but one that I choose not to repeat.
