Yeah, maybe CS should put a disclaimer in with the paperwork "Not responsible for added inches or pounds, new wardrobes or alterations or friends and family saying "would you please smoke the meat for the next party or reunion!"

I think we have all gained a few pounds. I know I have. I'm on a lite diet now though. When it gets light I start eating. And the good part is you can turn the light on anytime. I hope you like your smoker. I just got my SM-150 yesterday and I am going to break it in this morning.I will let my smokette rest for a day or two.

i havn't added inches to my waist, but last month my doctor doubled the strength of Lipitpr(Cholesterol medicine) from 20 mg to 40 mg. He said my lipids needed adjusting. I hope the meds work, because me & my cookshack have developed a real fine love affair in the past year, and i dont want to reduce the smokin time.

I also have been put on cholesterol and triglyceride lowering medicine since I got my Smokette. Go figger.

I've been concernede about the possibility also. Saturday we had a healthy smoked turkey and I'm looking forward to some smoked salmon and trout besides pork products.

Would you rather go out looking sickly and skinny, or would you rather go out looking like you really lived life to the fullest...

I'll opt for the second choice!!!
