Often when the topic of beef short ribs comes up, many say they are better braised than smoked or slow cooked. I am curious as to how much they cost per serving, doesn't seem to be a very large meat to bone ratio. Are they that darned tasty? I think brisket is the tenderest, bestest, melt-in-your-moutherest beef I have ever tasted. Should I go out and buy some short ribs?
I cooked them at 250* for 2 hrs, then glazed them with 1 half cup Stubbs BBQ sauce mixed with 1 tsp worcestershire sauce and 1 tbs. turpando sugar. lowerd temp. to 180* for 3 hrs. The cost was 2.49 for pack of two.Yes very tasty!!Very tender,nice change of pace..
