2 FEC's - 1 Chimney

I'm planning on getting a new FEC100 that has the door reversed. What I'm planning is to joining two smokers to a common chimney stack. I haven't talked with John Shiflet yet as he's been away. Has anyone done this? Any comments? I'd hate to spend the dough then find out that this is a bad idea.

That's one Fast Eddy probably needs to chime in on. It looks like if you fed two 5" into one 5", it would restrict air flow.

Air flow will be the issue. If one is running (the fans cycle on and off) and one isn't running, it will have an effect.

Good effect or bad effect I don't know.

If FE doesn't see the post, I'd call CS and ask for Stuart, he cooks one them a lot and probably, with his engineers mind, can probably help.

You can not tie them together until they are above the top of the cabinet. This will keep the units independant from each other.
