Assignments were a bit challenging this round. We had only 4 participants west of the Mississippi. I also tried to make sure none of the returning members shipped to the same member from previous exchanges. The last consideration was to try and get the paired names to be from different regions of the country. This was the toughest. Some of you are only a few states away and practically neighbors. I know BBq can be different from county to county so I hope it all works out in the end.

Once again, THANKS for all the efforts. For those on the forum that doesn't know, it was Padrefan that came up with the forum exchange originally and has been the one that has been kind enough to do all the leg work.
I'm gonna be a little slow this year getting my box out, but promise to have it done within the guidelines. I need to go see Dan at KCBBQ Store for some products. His knowledge of local rubs and sauces is extraordinary.
I want to include a product that I've never used. Not always that you can find a person so willing to be a lab rat.
Thanks Cal- It is a lot of work, but I am having a blast with our exchanges. I believe you are one of the consistent members who participates. Members like you make this the most enjoyable. I hope everyone has fun. I understand that this is a tough time of the year to be spending money on complete strangers. I hope to do more of these exchanges at different times of the year. Please keep an eye out for the 2014 rub and sauce exchange.
I spoke with one of our forum members today who is willing to help me with the awards. His generosity is going to make the awards a success this year. I can't wait for that portion of this exchange.

I agree with Cal on this, Kudoo's to Padrefan98, lot's of work has made this exchange work smoothly since it's inception.
My box will be shipping by the deadline but lots of work to do still to get my goodies ready. Jerky to be made and sauces to find, fun, fun, fun.

Thank you bubbasz1! I would be wrong not to acknowledge Cookshack for the forum, the great product we all enjoy and the support they provide to the owners. Without this great "made in the U.S.A." product with the phenomenal customer support, some of us just wouldn't be here. I know that Cookshack is the company I choose to give credit too when I serve my friends and family.
Padrefan,
All of your efforts are appreciated. I don't consider the members of this forum to be "complete strangers". I look forward to my box and have never been disappointed with past exchanges. I will proudly display it under my Christmas tree and actually use it!

Padre, thanks for putting this together. While I am unable to participate this go-round, it is always fun and I look forward to seeing what everyone receives. I will be back in next time though!
Padrefan, thanks for all your work, its been a blast making my list and checking it twice. Package heading to the west coast in the morning!
Looks like we have our first confirmed delivery! The winner of first to ship is JOE M. Congrats Joe! Prizes will be sent out at the end of December.

Yay! My last item for the exchange was waiting for me when I got home. My box is going out tomorrow.
My box will be delivered on Saturday where the expected low is -6 degrees. I hope BBQ sauce popcycles taste good.
My box should be delivered to someone south of me on Monday.
My order has been placed! My box should be on it's way soon to some place in the pretty cold northeast. High of 22' today. Now I remember why we didn't think Christmas exchanges were a good idea. Hopefuly the sauce doesn't freeze.
I was thinking the same thing about the sauce freezing. It's -8 here this evening and is suppose to go down to -15 by morning. I left a note on the door for the delivery guy so he can get the box some place warm if no one is home.
Padre.
Anything north or east of San Diego is freezing.

We got down to 42 yesterday, we were freezing at the baseball tournament. But we are wimps. Surprised we don't have any pictures posted!

My package came today and I can't thank Cook One enough for the generous quantities of rub and sauce! It was -22 here this morning but I think the cold is finally pushing off so I can now be planning to use these fine products in the very near future.
Thanks Again Cook One!

There should be a box sitting by someone's front door.

If it's my front door, I need to go check the neighbors house??? His and my address is almost the same and it confuses the delivery guys.
Nope, further south. Although the last exchange, my package ended up at my neighbors house. They never use the front door, always go through the garage, had no idea it was there for two days.

take note this is a two week time frame to do these.
Just got home and found a huge box on my front door. My son and I went through each item, finger testing as we went.
Early Christmas is right! Wilber you went way overboard. I am speechless. Well except for the terrible towel. How could you send that to a Charger fan?
Anyways, pictures will be posted soon. Already munching on some Jerky. It's a great day!

Well once I found out who I was sending to I knew I had to take care of the guy who organizes these exchanges. Its my first exchange but definitely not my last! I had a blast picking items for this! And as for the terrible towel I had to represent! Even tho I sat through a snow storm Sunday to watch the Steelers lose in the last 2 minutes. I am sure it will make a good polishing towel for your CS's
