6 boneless/ skinless chicky breasts rubbed liberally with CookShack Spicy Chicken rub, and smoked for 1 hour with 2 whole chunks of CookShack hickory is tooooo much smoke, and tooo much spicy!
Next time I'll use bone in/ skin on breasts, 1 chunk of wood and only use the rub when I'm feeding somone other than my 70 yeat old parents.

A couple of things I did that helped me were, get an accurate scale and weigh your chunks. All chunks weigh different amounts and you cant always count on "2 chunks" being the weight you want. And I always mix the CS Spicy Chix rub with the CS Rib Rub 50/50 when Im serving people with a low tolerance for spicy stuff. My wife & 2 daughters have had to not eat more than once until I learned this lesson. The food was just too spicy for them.
