My son has a small deli/bbq operation. We purchased a FEC 100 which came in a few days ago to assist in a substantial amount of custom cooking around the holidays. Smoker performed exactly as Mr. Sifflet had suggested that it would. Unfortunately, late yesterday during the last cook, a thunderstorm arose which toppled the smoker. Electronics no longer work. Would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Have you tried to push the reset button on the smoker. If you do not know where it is you can do two things. Un-screw the screws on the controller and fold it down and there is a green button on the hopper you can push. You can also unplug the unit and take the side cover off and reach thru the hole that all the wire go to the controller and reach up and push the button. This would be easier to do. You can tell from inside the cabinet where the re-set button is located. Not sure that this will solve the problem, but it is worth the try.
