This is not a BBQ recipe, but is a genesis of this Forum. Conceived and birthed right here. So...maybe that's an excuse.
Get some of Andi's salmon roe. It arrives brined in 3 percent salt.
Make a dill dip: equal parts sour cream and cream cheese, a dash of milk or cream, a bunch of dill, plus salt and pepper, etc.
(Use that as a dip for other orgasmic endeavors, but keep some.)
Make your favorite tossed salad.
Make your best vinager and oil dressing, and toss with the salad.
Now, throw in about 2 T of the dill-salmon roe dip, and toss.
Ohhhhhhh. So good.
They may not have ranches in Alaska, but this is a good dressing.
Roll Eyes Thanks, Andi. Are you busy tonight?

Wow! Go out of town for a couple of days and look what comes up! Beautiful recipe! Mind if I pass this along to some other Ikura fans?

I am thinking how great this will be on a Shredded Romaine, Tomato, and Jack Cheese omelette! Razzer

There are ranches all over AK. Buffalo, Bison, cattle, horse, sheep. Me? Soon to be goats! Big Grin
