I will be recording the entire series at home and would be more than happy to make copies.
I will probrably get all the episodes and grand finale in New York , on one tape so shipping will not be much at all. ( my treat )

I just did a double check on my Tivo direct tv. The show is on SUNDAY night at 10 pm not Sat. as listed on the Cookshack home page

Not to disagree with Tivo, it's probably right, but the OLN site says it's 7/30 not Sunday.

It also says it repeats on 7/31 at 1pm

Guess you need to watch your local settings and it's on when it's on.

On the other fourm a spokesperson from OLN confirms it is Saturday. Not only Direct TV but Time Warner have different times. Since Direct TV is national I have no idea why the difference. He said he would look into it. Would not be the first time that the guide was wrong.

I looked at my electronic guide for Cox and it doesn't show Saturday, but I'll tune in anyway and watch. It repeats Sunday also.

Just want to see FE cooking butts on sheet steel and cement blocks.

I just wrote a note about this in another part of the forum.. I have DishNetwork. Checked and there is nothing but Bull riding at 7PM.. and nothing remotely like BBQ for the rest of the night on their schedule.

Just went online.. Dish shows the program on tomorrow (Sunday) at 12PM and 7PM.. Not Saturday.

I am in Meridian,Ms.,comcast cable shows bbq showdown at 9pm.

Yup, it was on twice last night, so caught both the episodes.

Took advantage and traded in my HD box for a HD Digital Video Recorder. Maybe I'll put them to DVD.

Now, who wants to discuss what they saw?

The problem is even their own schedule is off. It listed the times you did for Sat and Sun and the show wasn't off.

But I'm caught up now on the first 3 episodes.

So far I have just seen Bentonville. Seems to me that a comp of this type is somewhat slanted. Why make a select group construct their own smokers but not everyone?

My cable company's schedule was incorrect also. I tuned in just after it was over. And I'm dying (well, not quite) to know how it turned out.

Agree with RaiderBill....On Fast Eddy's competition episode, cooking off a home made cinder block pit, everybody was penalized point total wise while it looks like other cities/competitions will or may be smoking on more legitimate equipment and their scores will reflect such, sending them to NYC. I do understand and appreciate the entertainment value of building the pit, etc., but perhaps each winner of the individual comps could have made it to a semi, then on to NYC from there....Perhaps for next season....Congrat's to Dr. BBQ and Fast Eddy! I also agree. Having to build your own pit removed some of the consistency/equality from the equation. Cool idea from a viewer perspective, but not a competitor perspective.

Watching that poor hometown guy try to build a smokestack for a pit that was doubtless leakier than anything he'd ever cooked on before was just too much. That whole episode screamed "gimmick" to me.
