Amerique New Temp goes down

New Amerique. Put together, breaking it in - set temp and time, it started up, smoking then the temperture goes down to 0 degrees F. Shuts off and says service. Whats up? Rechecked all the wires. If I open the door the temp will go up? Go figure?

Wow hope you get it figured out. If not I'd call CS monday morning --they'll take care of you. I'm sure you've tried all the simple stuff like unplugging the unit and plugging back in..
Hopefully someone else will chime in that knows a little more.

You should call CS in the morning. They'll help you sort it out. They stand behind their products.

Called this morning, said it's OK to reverse the wires on the temp unit. Thought about that but didn't want to screw up anything. Too bad its 9:15 AM, can't wait to get home to see if it works. This has to be a great smoker from what I've been reading. My wife picked out a GREAT gift for me, like a kid in a candy store!
