"add on" pellet system

OK I am still torn, I have a perfectly good big Jed and love it, except for the tending the fire thing

I like the FE2000 since it is a rotisserie design, but the 14k is a bit steep for a poor guy like me, so my little brain strated thinking, could I just "add" a delivery system to my Jed and go form there????????

I do not know if anyone has done this (I assume a lot have) but if anyone would be so kind as to share thoughts, that way could pick up a 100 for my fast cooks, but keep the big spinner for my long and low cooks.

Ideas, thoughts, suggestions.

If your big Jed has a big plate welded on it, it may be the one Robert Waddel had. He's the only individual that I know did it on his own and he couldn't make it work. Have you considered selling that unit and then upgrade to a fEC2000? Just FYI a pellet burner isn't the same as a gas burner stuck in a box.
