I did my second turkey(split) in the 50.
I used 2 oz of apple which was all the smoke i wanted.
Cooked at 250 though with chimney open it may have been hotter?
Wonderful. skin very crisp ,smoke mild (which for me is just right)
Tender and moist.
I ran with flue wide open.
This modified machine which seems to be considered a corruption does everything wonderfully.
