60 minutes of my life wasted. No depth or insight. Mulitple camera shots peeking into Southern Prides loaded with meat and TB drinking multiple glasses of Bourbon. Yawwwwn.

It's too easy, but isn't what you said true of all his shows?
Back in the day, he scripted some pretty interesting episodes. I recall a trip to Cleveland, where he grouped up with hometown chefs Michael Simon & Michael Ruhlman. They toured the various ethnic eateries, shopped the markets and prepared an elaborate meal.
Nowadays it the same rehash of Tony travels to __________ and drinks _______ and winds up in a dive joint at 2am eating greasy burgers

You DID watch the show... he ended up eating greasy burgers.
The sad thing was he went to some great places but the photographers sucked. No real good food shots while he was eating. There were great shots throughout, but never identified.
