As the 4th of July approaches...

I would like to say how thankful I am to be living in such a great country. God has blessed our land with wealth, prosperity, mercy and grace. I believe all of us are guilty of taking all these things for granted at one time or another. I am greatful for a time each year when we stop and take time out to celebrate our freedoms.

Thanks to each and every one who in whatever way has served our country, especially those who paid the ultimate price for the freedom we enjoy.

I pray that those who are serving now in Iraq and other troubled areas will soon be safely returning home to loved ones and families.

As we celebrate our country's independence, please take a moment to thank God for all he's done for us. God bless America. America, bless God...
