I was cooking ribs on my smokette and expierenced the big BOOM !. The only thing diffrent I did this time was put 1 piece of charcoal in with the couple ounces of wood. I tell ya, the bang will defintely get your attention (jump & nearly spill your beverage). The implosion put a 3/4" hole in the foil covering the drip pan. I have read about this, but until know never had it happen to me. The ribs on the Cookshack rib hooks turned out great. BANG!

oh well... the hiss is a bit different than the Bang! I believe the technical term is "whatever!" Different meat, different moisture... different position in the smoker... I suppose there will be all sorts of noises and other anomolies as our large cuts do their thing with wood and heat!!!

Long as the door don't blow off, just pop open another cold one!!!!! Big Grin
