Someone asked me if I could help them set up a 1st annual BBQ Competition for THIS July. Any comments, instructions, direction ?

I Judged the WBBQA KCBS comp at Lincoln City last year and had a blast! 100% CBJ! I want to cook there next year. Newberg sounds like fun too, I hope you get it off the ground! PM me if you need some contacts.

I'll move this down to the FE owners, Competition Forum, we'll get you some thoughts there.
It's been a while since I looked for it. But I think there is a comp checklist on the KCBS web site. Not what to take, but things to do for a comp and when they need to be taken care of. It was pretty detailed, and should bea reat starting place.
Since they updated thier site, I haven't looked for it.
