I ordered 40lbs on may 9, 2006. I called today may 15, 2006 7 days later to check on my order, and was told my order would be going out today. I was told bbq'ers delight allows them selves 7 days to fill orders. This is not what I was told when I ordered. I was told my order would be shipped the next day. I am starting a small catering business and now have to put jobs on hold. NOT HAPPY! NOT GOOD! This is very slow service. I can only hope it's worth the wait.

Don't count em out just yet. I made an order and recieved it in a timely fashion.
I too have learned the hard way about re-suppling prior to running out. Didn't lose the job, but folks wern't happy and I was embarassed. I now top off when things get down to half.

Well, I'll agree with Joe on this one, if you were doing catering and needed pellets, you should have extra on hand. What if the shipper lost the shipment or had some other issue?

And if your worried about ordering something on time, I'd get a tracking number so you can track it.

Candy's pretty reliable so I hope when you talked to her today and you discussed your issue with her direct.
just got to add my cents since bbqer's delite is all we will use.
for 2 years they have been a very reliable and forthright business. their technical help has helped us increase sales.
as a chef i learned long a go to order prior to an immediate need for any event. i learned this the hard way when a sysco truck got wrecked 12 hours before an event for 1500 people.
