BBQ in Australia and New Zealand?

Well, Hope the forum survives, but we Okies are off to Australia and New Zealand for 2 1/2 weeks starting Christmas. Looking forward to some Aussie Q (shrimp on the barbie, seafoods, etc)

I lived in OZ for two years so I know enough to be dangerous.

I'll report back about Q down under.

Wow, man, I'm jealous! I've had lots of Aussie and Kiwi friends over the years, but never made the trip down under. Have a great time!

We leave tomorrow and I'll miss THE Football game against Florida as I'll be in the air back from New Zealand.

But the kids will be watching the house while we're gone and use the FEC so all is well (and they know to clean the house while we're gone)

Should be fun. It's 15 degrees here in OKC and NOT in Australia.

Looking forward to some of the grilling they do (not really much smoking) but the seafood and snags (Sausage) are exceptional.

Well back from the 3 weeks in OZ and New Zealand. Good time, didn't really LOOK for Q although I had some sausage on the barbie... Wife would have killed me if we had BBQ on vacation
