Beginners' angst

I have found that Sausage makers to be the best place so far for BASE ingredient supplies. They are how ever NOT the place to buy hardware. LEMproducts is HALF the price. Also, reading alot of posts here, I would suggest buying sausagemakers book. It answers alot of IMPORTANT questions about why cure, when cure, and how. It has the recipes so you can adjust flavors. The biggie that I can see is the WHY. Just my 2 cents.
