Well we escaped the 80mph winds just north of us and had a nice cook off. There were 5 FEC teams competing. We took 8th in sausage, 5th in chicken, 1st in ribs, 5th in brisket, and 1st overall. Smokin Ice was 12th in chicken,9th in ribs, and 13th overall. Cookshack, Stu"s Q, and, Men on Fire were some other FEC teams there. Great showing with 89 teams competing.

Congratulations david, you done a awesome job, we were very happy for you. are you ready for the jack? you are almost there buddy, you are almost there. the only we could manage was 17th in chicken, bombed in every thing else.

But we learned SO much, we'll be at Claremore, ready to go...

Now If I can just figure out how that team turned in an ORANGE smoke ring (really, there was one)

Way to go FEC teams! We are very proud of you. Don't forget to fill out the winners' circle form if you place in the top ten in any category. We'll send you some pellets (free pellets, the best kind) and if you send us a photo you may have your choice of an FEC apron, ball cap, or t-shirt.

I'll give you guys 2 bags o pellets if you come down here to Texas and take a win in the ICBA. Dang they want it smokey here! UGH! It's a lonely place down here for a pellet cooker guy!

There will be several FEC cookers there. We will, Smokin, Stu's Q, We Did It, and Boys Can Smoke. Maybe more thats just all that I can think of. Oh yea maybe Cookshack.
