WHAT?
It is only one of the top 5 or 10 BBQ festivals in the US. It is in Tryon, NC. Just down the road. It is the offficial state championship.
IF you can, time your visit for to coincide with the event. It is June 10 & 11. I look forward to meeting you. Send me a Private messege and I will give you some numbers so you can call me....better yet, PM me your number and I will call you.

FireHouseBBQ will be there with Craig, Tom, Barbara and myself. Tryon is one of the best contests out there IMO also! I judged it for 6 years before we compete there this year for the first time.

We were going to compete there last year, but things did not work out so we could. This is our first year there and our first competition. We feel pretty good about the food we are cooking. It is all the other stuff that we are unsure of. But, we are going to give it a shot. I would like to get the Gov's trophy

This will be my 9th year cooking at Tryon . Come on up or down to biggest KCBS cooking on the East Coast. They will be several Pelletheads that will be there . It always a fun contest and a wild weekend. Come by and holler .
