I want to attempt a double smoked ham. Question is, how long will it take at 225 for a 7lb boneless spiral ham to cook to 145'ish ? I'm assuming not very long ...
It depends on your starting temp. Out of fridge vs room temp. I do mine for 3 hours then FTC at least 1 hour. You are really just heating it up with the addition of smoke +/- rub.
thanks guys, it took me 3.5 hours for the record to get it to 130f cooking at 250F cooking temps. We glased it for a 1/2 hour at 350 which brought it to about 135. It was really good....
