Did better this week, got three ribbons, not bad for a 2nd contest. 6th in ribs, 7th in brisket and 3rd in Sauce (okay, tricked you sauce isn't a MAJOR category)

Another class member, Habitual Smokers also got called twice (but I beat him in ribs -- he got 7th after my 6th) but they don't use an FE.

No, pretty much my normal brisket, took a couple of ideas from class and tried them and was happy with the results. Now to see if I can repeat or get better at the next contest.
Dang! Shade trees and green grass at a comp. I've never seen that before. Congrats on your finishes.
