I haven't used them but the price is 36 cents each and they only last 20 minutes on the 125 watt element of the Bradley. I would have to guess that they may last even a shorter time on the 550 watt element of the Smokette. It seems to me that you might be constantly opening the door and losing heat to keep the smoke going. A 2 to 6 ounce piece of wood is all that's needed for the whole cook in the Smokette and is a whole lot cheaper.

Why do you ask? Do you not have a source for wood chunks? CS sells them by the box and a box would last many months.

If it's for a variety of flavor, you can get the pellets, a bag of pellets, but these burn up pretty quick.
