Am I missing something? I see no water listed in BRINING 101 for BRINE III. Does it need water? If so how much? Other brines shown call for water?

I have used 1 gal of water for that recipe.

Not looking at it,but you are trying to achieve certain concentrations.If it needs dilution,often the comparable amount of ice is added to the hot brine,to speed the process.

I think that I will just go ahead and use 1 Gal. of water to make the brine. Thanks for the help.
